Creekside Vet Clinic has a rare opening for a full-time Veterinary Assistant or technician. Creekside has been established since 1998, Dr Crowe has an outstanding reputation within and outside our community.

This position will be approximately 90% technician and 10% admin / front desk.

Requirements

• Vetererinary Assistant (2 years)
• Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms.
• Obtain laboratory samples, venipuncture, IV catheter placement.
• Run laboratory machines, including in-house tests.
• Administer vaccines and medications, including prescription going home.
• Obtain a thorough history from clients.
• Assist in radiology.
• Assist during surgeries and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Assist in stocking and maintenance of machines and clinic.
• Know proper restraint.
